Can I run 32bit Wireshark on 64bit Win7? When will there be a 64bit portable WS?

Do I need the 64bit Wireshark on a 64bit Win7 system?

Or can I run 32bit Wireshark on a 64bit Win7 as well?

I would like to take the 32bit Wireshark PORTABLE version.
Unfortunately there is no 64bit Wireshark portable version so I have to take the 32bit.

Yes, you can run 32-bit apps (including Wireshark) on 64-bit Windows.

Sure, I do it all the time. In fact, I've never actually run 64 bit
Wireshark, even though my OS's are all 64 bit. Unless you need the
capability of looking at large captures that will force Wireshark to
exceed the 32 bit process memory limit of 2GB, then the 64 bit version is
unnecessary.

Some folks have also reported issues on Ask Wireshark when running 64 bit
Wireshark with captures not showing packets transmitted from the capturing
